Prior to ICG, Uzair was a Partner at Harvest Partners, where he focused on industrial businesses. He was previously a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, also focused on industrials, and earlier in his career worked at Charlesbank Capital Partners and Bain & Company.
Uzair has a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he was a Lawn Resident, and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He grew up in Burke, Virginia and attended the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
Uzair lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife, three daughters, and dog. Uzair enjoys tennis, skiing, and backpacking. He is a passionate fan of UVA basketball and football, the Washington Capitals and Washington Commanders, and the Boston Red Sox.
